My Sephora Spring Sale Beauty Haul

Whether you're a beauty novice looking for tried-and-true recommendations or a fellow beauty junkie hunting for your next holy grail product, Sephora’s Savings Event is something we all look forward to. It arrives every April and November, and it is my chance to overhaul my skincare routine. With combination skin, what works for me in the colder months tends to make my skin oily in the spring /summer, and vice versa, so it is my chance to change over my routine without breaking the bank. This year I decided to try all NEW products (except for two items) and in this post I will detail every product I am trying and what the product promises to deliver. Anti-ageing was the theme this haul with a focus on texture and getting my skin tone back even. From price points to main ingredients, I am discussing it all right here so get those shopping carts ready- I am sure you will come across something you could use.

Paula’s Choice 5% Vitamin C Sheer Facial Moisturizer SPF 50; $45

My favorite summertime SPF is Paula’s Choice Resist Youth Daily Hydrating SPF 50, so I decided to switch it up and give this one a try. It is good for anti-aging, the 5% vitamin C visibly brightens dullness, evens tone and amino acids enhance UV protection and visibly strengthen skin. The Resist Youth creates a satin matte finish while this one has a glowy finish so I can’t wait to compare them to each other later this summer.

Paula’s Choice C5 Super Boost Eye Cream; $39

An eye cream that firms and plump? Say less. I really am trying to be better at using eye cream so I decided to add this to my collection. It hydrates, smooths fine lines, absorbs quickly and leaves a glowing finish. It can be used under the eye and around the orbital bone and you all know I love a multi-talented product.

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner; $35

An oldie but goodie that I decided to revisit because I do really enjoy this toner. The salicylic acid unclogs pores and helps to control oil. It addresses pores, acne, blemishes and uneven texture while green tea extract sooths skin barrier.

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel; $34

This has been my go-to cleanser for the last few months so I decided to grab another bottle while I had the 20% off. This gel cleanser diminishes the look of fine lines, pores and wrinkles while it uses salicylic and glycolic acids to exfoliate. If you have sensitive skin I would skip this product, but if you decide to pick it up, SPF is a must. To be clear, SPF is a must 365 days a year, so I really shouldn’t have to say this. You can’t combat the signs of aging and not wear sunscreen.

Sephora Collection Gentle Exfoliating Peeling Serum $21

This product was recommended to me by my favorite Sephora skin specialist, so I knew I had to grab it. Niacinamide and Lactic Acid come together to form this gentle serum that is said to smooth the texture of your skin, even your complexion and reduce the appearance of pores.

First Aid Beauty Firming Cream with Peptides, Niacinamide and Collagen $44

Let us see how firm my skin can get with this new moisturizer shall we? Peptides and niacinamide come together to deliver just that while addressing skin concerns such as loss of firmness and elasticity. Skin is said to look and feel nourished and hydrated almost immediately. According to reviews on Sephora.com this is absolutely NOT for sensitive skin, so please either skip this altogether, or head to Sephora and get a sample to spot test it. It had a 4.4-star rating with 724 written reviews at the time of writing this. I am NOT a professional, I’m your friend!

Farmacy Honey Milk Hydrating Essence with Chamomile + Ceramides $34

Since I am a fan of their Deep Sweep and Brighten Up 3% TXA toner, it was time I tried this beauty, especially since my cart was so chemical heavy. This states that it will provide all day hydration, soothe redness and replenish your moisture barrier thanks to the help of Hawaiian sourced white honey. Use after toner but before serum.

Kiehl’s Since 1851 Micro-Dose Ant-Aging Retinol Serum $65

If I can still hold a heated debate over if I am team Brenda or team Kelly, it is time for me to become a regular retinol user. I have purchased here and there but, I never made a commitment simply because at the time I did not see the need. Well, I am not at the age where I need to be preventative about matters before it is too late. I chose this retinol because it came highly recommended for the simple fact that the peptides and ceramides should minimize the dreaded retinol purge. The daily serum claims to be gentle enough for sensitive skin and can be used under eye and crow’s feet area, HOWEVER do not use in your eye, eye lid area or lips.

Youth To The People Triple Peptide Hydrating+ Firming Oasis Serum $57

This lightweight gel is supposed to instantly deliver multi0level hydration to revitalize dehydrated, dry skin and plums the look of fine lines and wrinkles. This product has triple-peptied infused hyaluronic acid which, not only have I never heard of, but I am very excited to try it. Working in healthcare, my dehydrated areas are my smile lines due to constant mask wearing. I can’t wait to see if overtime, my skin doesn’t feel slightly tight and dry at the end of a long day. Moisture-binding plant extracts from Cactus and Rambutan Peel help the skin hold on to moisture and hydration longer.

There you have it! My complete Sephora Spring Sale haul that's elevating my beauty routine just in time for the warmer months! I can’t wait to see if these carefully selected products will make a difference in how my skin looks and feels, and I'm confident they'll become staples in my daily lineup. Which product from my haul are you most excited to try?
