Raising a Toast to Beyonce’s Upcoming Sir Davis Whisky Launch

Listen, at this point I need to make the Queen Bey an itemized line in my taxes because she will forever keep her hand in my pocketbook! I was at work minding my business like I always do when the queen posted a picture of herself holding a drink and the caption only said “DAVIS IN MY BONES” SIRDAVIS.COM. The glass was tagged with an Instagram page named Sir Davis. I almost broke a nail I clicked so hard. WHAT IS THIS!? Whisky. Now a fun fact about me; I do not drink. Nothing personal, I just don’t care much for the taste of alcohol. None of that matters when it comes to the life of a fan, ask the bottles of Bruno Mars’s rum, SelvaRey Rum on display in my room.
The Queen keeps her hands in my wallet
Of course, I quickly follow the page and the first thing I said out loud to no one in particular is, “OMG that bottle is gorgeous!” Everyone reading this knows it is coming home but that is for a later discussion. This is already an award-winning whisky because the Queen reportedly entered in into many competitions under a fake name, like a Queen would.
Named after her Great Granddaddy Davis Houge, Beyonce comes from a long line of whiskey makers and drinkers. According to her mother, Ms. Tina Knowles, Davis Houge was a moonshine maker, and Beyonce chose to continue the family’s legacy. The Queen collaborated with Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden to help create the one-of-a-kind flavor profile that represented her idea of the perfect Whiskey.
