Glamlite: Affordable Quality Makeup That Celebrates Childhood Nostalgia

As a beauty enthusiast and small content creator, I’m always on the lookout for cosmetics that not only deliver quality but are also affordable. That’s why Glamlite Cosmetics became a staple in my collection early on. From the moment I discovered the brand, I was captivated by its unique approach to makeup—turning everyday indulgences and childhood nostalgia into vibrant, high-quality products that celebrate individuality and creativity.   I used to be a lipstick only girl. I figured, if all else fails, I can at LEAST put on lipstick. Now, don’t get me wrong, I had a ton of eyeshadows, but it was more of a “I have it for when I need them” type of shopper. As an enthusiast you NEED every limited-edition collection that drops because those are the rules of my life. When it comes to creating content, the world wants to see what’s new and hot NOW! When I first came across Glamlite, it was the infamous Pizza Pallet. I am a sucker for packaging, and I too liked pizza, so it was only right that I added it to my collection. The palette was constantly sold out and still, to this day, I never got my hands on. It was like Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket.

The first time I was able to own a Glamlite palette was the Paint Palette. It was huge, dramatic and bright. The first thing that stands out is the design packaging. Meant to mimic an actual artist’s paint palette,18 shades are laid out across a wooden palette with also includes a “paint” (eyeshadow) brush. It was STUNNING! When I first saw it on YouTube, I assumed PR packages were much bigger and when my palette arrived it surely would be compact. NOPE. Huge. Again, I am a sucker for packaging. If it looks good on display, I will definitely add it to cart just based off aesthetics. This is where I would soon learn that grand packaging and affordability would be the cornerstone of Giselle Hernandez’s vision.

For the horror fans, the brand did not disappoint with epic collections inspired by iconic horror franchises such as Chucky, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm St., allowing fans of the genre embrace their edgier side in the way that feels playful and authentic.  

This brand really knows how to take ordinary makeup products and create high quality experiences. They fuse creativity, pop culture and inclusivity together and it makes each collection more than just another makeup launch- it’s a celebration of the iconic moments that helped shape us making them irresistible.
