Beauty Drops: March 2026
Welcome back to Beauty Drops, and March is giving us something truly special. This month is basically a love letter to fragrance and also my BIRTHDAY month! Out of nine incredible brands, five of them are all about scents, and out of those five brands, there are nine new fragrances landing on your radar. So whether you're a fragrance fanatic or just starting to build your collection, you are going to want to pay attention because brands are definitely getting us ready for sundress season... Let's get into it!
SKINCARE
Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream by Dermalogica
What is it? A lightweight water cream moisturizer.
Why is it trending? Clinically proven to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles in as little as 3 days.
Key Thing: This water cream helps to plum and preserve collagen and elastin while supporting and improving barrier strength with up to 44% more collagen and 56% more elastin. The peptide complex in this moisturizer helps delay signs of skin aging and provides deep hydration.
Price: $ 76 USD
My take: Who among us isn’t trying to stop the signs of aging before they start? I was intrigued by the hydration factor and now I am interested because of the anti-aging factor! Skin plumping and a visible bounce is the promise and I cant wait to test this out for my next moisturizer. I am interested in seeing if this lightweight moisturizer can hydrate like it promises without making me oily. If you have acne prone or oily skin, patch test first or consult a skin professional.
Perfect for: Those looking for a moisturizer that does more than hydrate.
MAKEUP
Mini Yummy Skin Prep Essentials kit in Matte and Glow Finish by Danessa Myricks
What is it? A travel size mini kit of award-winning products with prep and priming favorites.
Why is it trending? Danessa Myricks has placed her beloved skin prep products in an easy to carry travel size just in time for the summer. Take it with you on the go, or use it as a change to try a prep and prime line without the full price commitment.
Key Things: Danessa has amazing shadow and pigments but is becoming more and more known for her primers and foundation products. Clinically proven to deliver, each set contains the new 10/10 Barrier Boost along with foundation prep for your skins needs;
Yummy Skin Matte Finish Prep Essentials Kit contains:
- Yummy Skin 10/10 Barrier Boost Serum
- Yummy Skin Mattifying Water Powder Serum
- Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder in Universal
Yummy Skin Glow Finish Skin Prep Essentials Kit contains:
- Yummy Skin 10/10 Barrier Boost Serum
- Yummy Skin Glow Serum in shade Main Squeeze
- Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Universal Primer in Universal Radiant
Price: $30 USD
My take: I am excited to get my hands on this because although I do own the Yummy Skin Tint Serum (shade #9), Sephora employees have kind of steered me away from purchasing the Blurring Balm powder because my skin can be combination at times. They say the Yummy Serum is enough for me, and we move on to the next product. NOT THIS TIME! I cant wait to try this out, possibly both- one for summer and one for winter when the months get drier.
Perfect for: Those who want to take their favs on the go, or want to finally try the full routine without pissing of your debit card.
Shake N’ Play Liquid Blush by Fenty Beauty By Rihanna
What is it? A lightweight buildable liquid blush that is available in 5 shades.
Why is it trending? Fenty promises fade- resistant color and a natural, blurred finish while also delivering all day hydration with the help of Cucumber Extract.
Key Things: This compact liquid blush is easy to build and layer with up to 12-hour wear. Shake the container and untwist the cap to reveal a tiny sponge like applicator that delivers transfer- proof and waterproof blush that resists fading, sweat and humidity. One dot for a hint of color, add two or more for a bolder finish. Available in the following colors:
- Bow’Peep- petal- pink
- Fiya Papaya- pink coral
- Quit Wine’in- plum wine
- Violet Vices$- blackberry
- Wild’berry Whipp- rose mauve
Price: $28 USD
My take: As I always say when she announces a new product, “that Rihanna reign just wont let up!” I am a sucker for packaging, and this is so simple, and it still made me do a double take. The glossy white top in contrast to the color of the blush immediately had me wanting more! At first glance the colors seem bold and intimidating, however, remember you can control the coverage. This seems almost fool proof for someone like me who wants to wear more blush geared towards bold and colorful, not natural.
Perfect for: Anyone who wants to add color to their canvas this summer without having to reapply in between cookouts.
HAIRCARE
The Styling Collection by Cécred
What is it? A new collection by Cécred geared towards high performance styling while maintaining hair health. The collection protects your hair with 450°F heat and humidity protection.
Why is it trending? Cécred is becoming a staple in the hair community with each collection. With science backed, patent pending technology and healthy hair first mentality, each collection has consumers wanting every new product to compare to their tried and true products.
Key Things: Powdered by Stemsheild Complex, this line allows you to do the most when it comes to styling without the damage. This line has three things that makes it different from the rest of the brands in their market:
Shape- Memory Polymers: delivers lasting hold while keeping hair light, moveable and manageable.
Plant Stem Cell Lipids: Nourishes, supports hair integrity and provides 450°F heat protection.
Black Honey Ferment: Promotes a strong scalp and hair barrier.
The collection includes the following products:
Strong Hold Gel- 24-hour hold and frizz control while delivering optimal moisture to hold ratio; $32 USD
Flexible Hold Hairspray- 48-hour frizz control and humidity resistance; $38 USD
Thermal Shield Mist- Defends against 450°F heat, humidity and frizz while forming a protective layer to insulate each strand against thermal damage; $30 USD.
Heat Activated Silk Gaze- A glaze that provides a long lasting glass like finish, silkens and controls frizz, coats hair in a protective barrier and provides heat protection; $ 34 USD.
Volumizing Mousse- Delivers maximum volume and root lift; $32 USD.
Wrap and Set Foam- Molds and Defines with lasting body and hold; $28 USD.
Price: Ranges from $28 USD to $38 USD
My take: Counting down until I get my hair done to try these products! Right now, I am a knotless braid Diva, but don’t get it twisted! I use Cécred all the time, from the Protection Collection, the Hydrating shampoo, Reconstruction Treatment mask and the ever popular Edge Drops. Surely, I will absolutely be adding these items to my collection when the time comes. I am typically hard on my hair when it comes to trying styles, so I love how the brand focuses on hair health first and foremost; I feel like if I go too far left, Cécred will have something to get me back on track!
Perfect for: The crew who loves to switch the hairstyles up while maintaining healthy hair.
FRAGRANCE
What is it? Two new fragrances join the Eden Collection.
Why is it trending? Kayali is adding to their line up with two new scents: Eden Sweet Peach| 35 and Eden Plush Pear | 23 just in time for summer.
Key Things: These two scents can be worn alone or layered with each other, or the Kayali of your choice. Let’s look over the vibe and scent notes of each, shall we?
Eden Sweet Peach | 35; Sweet. Lucious. Velvety.
Top Notes: Sweet Peach, red apple, bergamot.
Middle Notes: Freesia, jasmine, rose, frangipani, nectarine.
Dry Notes: Oakmoss, Patchouli, vanilla, praline, musk, KAYALI signature accord, amber woods, sheer tonka.
Eden Plush Pear | 23; Plush. Dreamy. Dewy.
Top Notes: Plush Pear, mandarin, bergamot.
Middle Notes: Orange blossom, freesia, gardenia, lily of the valley, coconut water.
Dry Notes: Sandalwood, Cashmere woods, vanilla caviar, KAYALI signature accord.
Price: 0.34FL OZ: $29; 0.34FL mini; $ 32 USD; 1.7FL OZ: $105 USD; 3.4FL OZ; $150 USD : Eden Miniature Gift Set: $100 USD
My take: I would love to say I didn’t rush from work straight to Sephora the day these launched to smell firsthand, but that would have been a lie! I sure did facetime my bestie for first impressions and reactions! Pear smelled exactly like that- a fresh pear being cut into. It was soft (in a good way), clean and fresh. Peach on the other hand was bolder and made a statement. It was sweet but not overpowering and not like a fruit basket. The peach stood out but also blended well with the apple. Having Eden Juicy Apple as well as Eden Sparkling Lychee, I could tell they were all cousins. A week later I received Eden Peach for my birthday from my bestie and I was so excited! Can’t wait to get the Pear next!
Perfect for: The fruity/floral lovers looking for a new scent for the summer.
What is it? The newest fragrance by BROWN Girl Jane
Why is it trending? The brand’s first release of 2026 is a Peach dream.
Key Thing: Peach seems to be the scent of the season and BROWN Girl Jane did it in their own, sultry way. Where most peach scents are bright and have you thinking of beach days and shopping at an outdoor mall, this scent gives late night dinner reservations on a rooftop. Check out the vibes:
“Smells like ripe peach and bourbon vanilla”
Top Notes: Velvet peach, blood orange, bellini nectar.
Heart Notes: Butterscotch Créme, Georgia magnolia, almond blossom
Base Notes: Vanilla bourbon, sandalwood, cashmere musk
Price: 0.33 OZ: $30 USD; 1.7 OZ: $102 USD
My take: Just like the Kayali, I was at the mall the day this came out specifically to smell this scent. The tester wasn’t even out yet and I sure did have the sales associate make the tester right then and there because, it should have been out at 10am, but I’m getting off track. Anyway, when I first sprayed it, I smelled all bourbon. All. I was like wait I thought it was PEACH aura. The moment I left the store and the draft from the AC hit, I got a whiff of the vanilla and the entire scent profile, and it was giving fried peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream! (IYKYK) This will definitely be a birthday purchase!
Perfect for: Those who want to be mysterious this summer.
Fragrance & Friendship Collection by Brown Sugar Babe
What is it? A new collection of nourishing body and perfume oils by Brown Sugar Babe in a collection “curated as an ode to the people that sustain us. The friends that show up across different time zones, seasons and different versions of ourselves. The ones who remind us who we are when life gets loud.”
Why is it trending? Brown Sugar Babe is known for their scented body and perfume oils with a mix of original scents and scents inspired by popular and niche fragrances.
Key Thing: The collection has 4 new scents inspired by very popular niche fragrances, allowing you to create unique fragrance combinations with scent profiles not typically available at the ready.
Price: 2oz; $32.50 USD; 4oz; $65 USD; Perfume Oils; $75 USD
My take: If you have been around for a while you know I LOVE Brown Sugar Babe. Every group chat, mailing list; if they created it, I am a part of it. They have a program called “The First Sniff” where if you sign up the moment the link goes live, the first 600 signups receive testers. Last collection was 200, this time they increased it to 600, and I lucked it out again and was chosen. And by lucked out I mean I ignored work responsibilities and refreshed the page until it went live and signed up. A girls’ got to do what a girls’ got to do. My focus paid off so I can give you an honest review of each scent since I have worn and tested them. I had not smelled the scents these were inspired by, so I had no frame of reference. Below are the names, scent notes and what scent the oil is inspired by:
Auga Davina: Bright. Radiant. Addictive.
Top Notes: Ginger, mandarin orange
Heart: Magnolia, orange blossom
Base: Ambergris, cedar, Amyris
Inspired by Sacred Water by The Harmonist $285 USD
This was a surprise love for me. You know I am a gourmand girlie but this scent immediately had me wishing I was on my way to an all-inclusive beach for the week. It smells more floral on my with the orange blossom dominating the dry down, which shockingly I didn’t mind. I am realizing instead of hating florals, I now have a love/ hate depending on what surrounds the scent notes. This one was a love!
Perfection: Warm. Luminous. Irresistible.
Top Notes: Fig, caramel
Heart: Jasmine
Base: Amber
Inspired by Marc Jacobs Perfect Absolute $170 USD
Now, I have Marc Jacobs Perfect, and I was drawn to the Perfect Absolute bottle simply because it is purple, yet every time I wanted to smell it in Ulta, that tester was bone dry and now, I see why. This fragrance is sweet with a hint of floral on me which means winner winner chicken dinner! The caramel and amber stand out on my skin and throughout the day I do get a hint of jasmine- just enough to remind me its there, but never once does it over power. I love this one so much I sure did add the travel size of M.J.P.A. to cart. Let us hope it lives up to this body oil because sometimes, Brown Sugar Babe is either a dead ringer, or BETTER than its cousin. I said what I said.
Rebirth: Soft. Restored. Glowing.
Top Notes: Orange Blossom, grapefruit.
Heart: White Tea, jasmine Sambac
Base: Vanilla Sandalwood
Inspired by Printemps Blanc by Maison Mataha $215 USD
This scent is a re-release, once a part of a bundle the brand has for sale. I believe it was four of their best-selling scents and this scent was new, featured and only in that gift set. The set sold out and the chat has been raving about it ever since. The moment it was announced everyone was so excited; the people that owned it but was “baby sitting” it for fear of running out, or the ones who missed it the first time around. Once I smelled it, I can see why. No one note stand out on me, it blends perfectly to be one unique scent. The compliments were not “oh you smell like vanilla” or “is that marshmallow I smell?” it was just “oohh, what is THAT??” I now understand the hype. This scent reminds me of warm LA days and concert nights in Los Angeles, aka a perfect day.
Timeless: Warm. Addictive. Eternal.
Top Notes: Citrus and Fruits
Heart: Chocolate, spices, sandalwood
Base: Vanilla, tonka bean, amber, musk.
Inspired by 1970 by Rosendo Mateu $255 USD
Sleeper pick for sure! When I opened the sample, all I smelled was cinnamon. Smelled like I just opened my bakers cabinet and I was looking for vanilla extract. I was fresh out of the shower headed to bed, so I put some on my wrists and inner elbow just to see what she was giving. She was giving spices. Cute, but spices. About 30min later when I got in bed and rolled over I got a whiff and LET ME TELL YOU!! I smelled like a warm cinnamon vanilla madeleine freshly baked. I remember saying “wait a minute now!” to absolutely no one. I became the annoying girl who sniffed her wrist until she fell asleep. I woke up thinking about what I was going to pair with it, if anything! This scent is warm, sweet but still grown! I simply adore it!
Perfect for: Those who take fragrance layering seriously, or anyone that is looking for a nourishing body oil that wants to smell like luxury.
Milk Orchid Expressive Eau de Parfum by @Perfumerism by Commodity
What is it? An interpretation of the brands Milk line by @Perfumerism
Why is it trending? What was once limited edition is returning for good in travel and full sizes.
Key Thing: An interesting take on the Milk Expressive Collection, because unlike its predecessors, there is no marshmallow note. Like every Commodity Fragrance, there scents tell a story, evolving throughout the day, and this scent will go something like this:
First: Fig milk and coconut cream
Then: Vanilla Orchid and magnolia
Finally: Macadamia milk and sandalwood
Price: 0.34oz: $34 USD; 3.4oz: $155
My take: Skeptical was my name during the first launch. I was so excited to smell it in stores, but it was SO limited. No store had it and you can only buy it online for the 3.4oz. My sinuses and budget was sad, but now with the permeate release, it was available in Sephora and I got a chance to get a sniff and it smelled SO GOOD! It took me by surprise because I was still waiting for the Milk DNA to kick in but it never did. I got the travel immediately! Every note blends perfectly together for an all-day scent story.
Perfect for: those that want a soft sweet gourmand.
‘REPLICA’ Chasing Sunsets Eau de Toilette with Mango and Sandalwood by Maison Margiela
What is it? A new edition to the Replica line.
Why is it trending? Another summertime scent has arrived to bring some diversity to y9our scent catalog this summer. Inspired by the glow at Ipanema Beach at sundown, this fragrance gives “tropical evening skies as sky and sea melt into amber light.”
Key Thing:” An olfactory escape rooted in Brazilian beach culture, Chasing Sunsets transforms fleeting moments of golden hour into a lasting fragrance memory—where music drifts on warm air, time slows, and summer lingers well beyond sunset.” The scent notes are as follows:
Top Notes: Mango accord, cardamom heart (Guatemala)
Heart Notes: Tuberose Accord
Base Notes: Sandalwood heart (Nee Caledonia), vanilla accord, crystal moss
Price: 0.34oz: $36 USD; 1oz: $89 USD; 3.38oz $170 USD
My take: The gigantic display got me before anything else did. The entire center back wall of Sephora was this scent on a beach at sunset with mango next to the bottle. Of course I had to smell it and I am so glad I did. Unlike most mango scents this one did not smell synthetic on me, it smelled like I personally just cut open a fresh mango. I was instantly hooked. This was my sign to step out of the world of vanilla more often.
Perfect for: those with multiple beach days and bonfire nights planned for the next few months.
