Paint Night Parade is back!!

The first ever Pixar Fest is coming to California Adventure starting today and with this comes the return of my all time favorite parade Paint the Night!

Paint the Night Parade made its grand debut May 22, 2015 at the 24hour kick off of the Diamond Celebration and it was breathtaking! It was visually stunning and it made the classic Main Street Electrical Parade seem like child's play.

The Main Street Electrical Parade debuted at Disneyland and 1972 and when it made a comeback for it's last historical run, everyone was excited. The music, the spinning snails and Pete riding a huge Elliot Dragon float transports me back to being a kid, watching the commercials hoping to one day see it in person. The lights flickered and twinkled and when the synthesizer styled soundtrack started and you saw the choo choo train start the parade off, you were in for a real treat.

But this isn't that. Paint the Night is the M.S.E.P dipped in crystallized sugar, over a million LED lights and Disney magic to deliver something you have to see to believe. Pictures and video do this parade no justice. The costumes and synchronized dancing, the floats and the music is everything Disney is. Catch me front row (because yes, I will camp out for this parades return) yelling at Mickey to notice me and singing "When Can I See You Again" at the top of my lungs.

I am super excited to see the parades return, especially at DCA where the route will be longer and enough room for everyone to enjoy this magnificent parade. It runs through the end of Pixar Fest as of now, so catch it while you can!!
