BREAKING NEWS! Disneyland is Closing Due to Covid-19

So, this is happening. As of March 14th, 2020 Disneyland will close due to the coronavirus pandemic. I am trying to wrap my mind around it. I was just there 2 weeks ago enjoying the food and wine festival and planning my birthday for next week. With so much uncertainty surrounding the virus, although I hate to admit it, Disney is making the right call. Coronavirus is highly contagious, easily passed and since we don't really understand it totally, closing before anyone at the park is infected is a good idea. Could you imagine how widespread it could become if someone, unaware that they have it, went to Disneyland during spring break? The point is to STOP the spread, not wait for someone to get it, then do into damage control. Closing Disney as a precaution is risky, yet commendable. It shows me that the company cares more about the guests than the profit and hopefully when all this is over, it will be better than ever.

Who knows how long this will last, or what Disneyland will look like when they reopen, but I have a feeling that the Disneyland we are so used to will be forever changed.
